My newest venture: Speaking English Podcast
Could you tell me the meaning of a “pod” instead of “iPod”?
A pod is a thing with too halves that seeds lie in. For example pepper pods protect the seeds, bean pods protect the beans. I guess the iPod protects your music. Cheers.
it is very interesting website
Why not to make the videos downloadable? It would be just great if I could download them to watch them many time in order to learn English better. So, please think about it sometime, it would make a lot of usefulness for learners.
@Michail, they are downloadable. If you subscribe e.g. in iTunes, each episode is delivered to your computer and you can watch them as often as you like and don’t need an internet connection.
hi you are very nice.
I can’t understand how to subscribe. Would you please to explain?
@Michail: You have actually two options. If you look at this page on blip.tv, http://blip.tv/file/4001441?file_type=flv, you can find a download link at the bottom – under the comment section is a line of “Quick links”. “Download” is one of them.
The second option is what most of the viewers here do. They have a programme called “iTunes” (http://www.apple.com/itunes/) installed on their computers. In that programme they have added Speaking English Podcast in the “podcast” section and the programme will automatically detect and download any new episodes.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
