Be careful of "beet" which is pronounced the same as "beat." A beet is a reddish colored vegetable, sometimes used in soup.Also, the "uber-hip" like to pronounce "bitch" as "bee-ah-tch".
I thought I mentioned Bee Ah tch, but thanks for mentioning beet. I love beet in my salad.
